Funding brief: Truanting pupils chance to train as junior footballcoaches

Young people who do not attend school or who are at risk of truanting will have the chance to train as junior football coaches, thanks to a grant of nearly 130,000 from the Young People's Fund. The funding for Bolton Wanderers' Football in the Community scheme will be targeted at boys and girls aged 11 to 18 from disadvantaged parts of Bolton and Bury.
