Capital Radio's Help a London Child has given 2,998 to the Barnet Carers Centre in north Finchley. The centre will use the money to support its Barnet Young Carers and Siblings Teen Time project, which gives young carers a break from their responsibilities. Capital Radio DJ Johnny Vaughan presented the centre with the grant. The centre is one of 295 organisations to receive a share of 580,000 from Help a London Child. www.capital10k.co.uk.
