A 2m fund has been launched to help local authorities and partnership agencies prevent homelessness and reduce temporary accommodation. The Homelessness Innovation Fund offers up to 200,000 to individual schemes from organisations including county councils and voluntary sector groups. Bids should be submitted to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister by 9 September.www.odpm.gov.uk.
