Funding brief: Cash from appeal to fund 'clown doctors'

Cash from the Yorkshire Building Society Foundation's annual charity appeal will fund the work of specially trained "clown doctors" who use improvisation and entertainment skills in treating severely disabled children. Actress Amanda Burton attended the launch of the appeal, which raised more than 77,000 for a number of projects run by The Princess Royal Trust for Carers and The Children's Trust, which will use the clown doctors in its rehabilitation centre.
