- Where is it? The Acorn Centre in Scalford Drive in Peterborough

- Who runs it? Local charity Family Care as part of an agreement with Peterborough City Council

- What does it do? The centre works with 1,200 families. Its services include a breakfast club, a community cafe, baby yoga, messy play, informal advice drop-ins, education support, Citizens Advice and child health clinics. There is also Parents United, a support group run by parents for parents.

- Who does it work with? Peterborough City Council

- How is it funded? Central government via Peterborough City Council, with additional money from donations to Family Care.
