Neglecting preventative work will inevitably lead to a rise in thealready high number of children with mental health problems More thanone in 10 under-15s already has a mental health disorder according tothe British Medical Association's Board of Science. It could also leadto a rise in crime and disorder; around three in 10 young peopleinvolved in crime also have some form of mental health problem.
