An Ofsted inspection of Trent Road Nursery in Grantham in November foundthe quality and standards of care and nursery education to be"inadequate" and the nursery has been issued a notice to improve bymid-May.
However, the association, which has the backing of parents using thenursery, says the report does not give an accurate picture and it willbe making a complaint to Ofsted.
The association set up five regional centres to support membersproviding childcare in disadvantaged areas and to be examples of goodpractice.
Chief executive Purnima Tanuku said: "They are still only 12 to 18months old and there are challenges to be overcome on the way."
