Don't Miss: Autism, Education and Ethnicity - 16 April

This National Autistic Society conference on 16 April asks whether young autistic people from Black and ethnic minority communities are missing out on education. The London event is a response to the results of a survey carried out by the society into autism and educational provisions in the UK.

Research findings about the experiences of children with autism fromethnic minority communities will be launched on the day. And in additionto presentations from various speakers, workshops will tackle issuesincluding cultural sensitivity and parents' involvement in schools.
