What does it do? The centre plans to offer pop-in-and-play groups, a baby club, a family outreach service, courses for adults, creche facilities and health services, such as ante-natal groups and baby massage sessions, which will be run with health visitor and midwifery teams.
Who does it work with? The council's family information service Kites, Jobcentre Plus, Sussex Downs College, the Childminding Network, Family Learning, East Sussex Downs & Weald Primary Care Trust and the English as an Additional Language Service.
Who funds it? The general Sure Start grant.
