Ten children with the same mother have been taken into care over the last decade, a court has heard. The BBC reports that a family court in Bournemouth heard that three boys aged between five and nine were taken into care by social services amid concerns over substance abuse, violence and neglect. A consultation looking at public health nursing services for children and young people has been launched by Northamptonshire County Council. Children as young as three have been referred to an NHS clinic that helps those who believe they were born the wrong gender. The Daily Mail reports the three pre-school children are among 167 children aged 10 or under who have received transgender treatment on the health service in the past year.?
