Youth Access has been working with other organisations on a campaign called JustRights. Can you tell us a little about the campaign?

JustRights is an alliance of organisations (The Children's Rights Alliance for England, The Howard League for Penal Reform, Law Centres Federation and Youth Access) which believes that:

Why is it important that children have access to legal services?

Children and young people have major legal needs. We know that each year 16- to 24-year-olds will experience at least 2.3 million rights-related problems requiring professional advice on issues such as homelessness, money and employment.

Yet fewer than half of all young people with serious problems will actually manage to obtain advice — leaving a million vulnerable citizens to cope with their problems unassisted each year.
