The programme includes access to a dedicated SidebySide volunteer who has been trained to support them for a minimum of 12 months, starting from March 2021. The volunteers have been matched with a young person and will use their own personal skills and experience to provide bespoke support to help them achieve their goals. This could be help with accessing education and training, employment or benefits, or access to health services.

In addition to mentoring support, participants will receive an information pack, support bursary up to the value of £500 and up to 10 hours of advocacy support from an NYAS-qualified advocate.
