Number and age of pupils: 51 nursery and 420 five- to 11-year-olds
What does it offer? Breakfast, after-school and holiday care is provided in partnership with Koosa Kids for children at Birch Hill and other schools in the extended services cluster. A weekly drop-in for parents is provided by the Family Information Service.
Who does it work with? The school is working closely with others in the area to host a school council conference in June 2008.
Who funds it? Childcare and study support clubs are self-financed and paid for by pupil contributions. The school funds a family support worker.
