Registered stakeholders are invited to comment on the provisional recommendations, while those who are not registered are encouraged to pass comments on to the stakeholder organisation that best represents their interests.
The guidelines aim to advise on the treatment and management of ADHD in children, young people and adults. They have been developed by a team of healthcare professionals, guideline methodologists and a carer and service user, following careful consideration of the available evidence. The consultation considers both medical and psychological interventions.
It is hoped that these guidelines will be useful to clinicians and service commissioners in providing and planning high-quality care for people with ADHD, while also emphasising the importance of the care experience for them and their carers.
