Rome recreated Young people from Swindon Foyer perform a play called Momento Mea. The Foyer residents, all aged 16 to 25, put together the production after helping English Heritage to excavate Groundwell Ridge, a Roman villa in Swindon. After their involvement on the dig, the young people, with backing from English Heritage, wrote Memento Mea, a play themed around remembrance and preservation. The above scene depicts the play's lead character - a journalist - meeting the Roman goddess Venus. The play will be performed at English Heritage's Festival of History in Nottingham this August.
