Simon Antrobus, chief executive of Clubs for Young People, is to head an inquiry into youth and gang crime policy for Iain Duncan Smith's Centre for Social Justice think tank.
The inquiry, due to report in summer 2008, will survey the extent of youth crime and what action should be taken to reduce it.
