Ambition Giving

1 min read Management Funding
To celebrate its 90th anniversary, youth charity Ambition has set up a small grants programme to run throughout the year offering funding to individuals and groups to help deliver activities for young people up to the age of 24 in their community. Ambition Giving was launched in February and will make funding awards four times throughout 2015.

What will it fund? Ambition has three overarching outcomes for all of its programmes: improved educational attainment, improved health and increased employability for the future. Any project funded must address one of these outcomes. It should also focus on at least one of the following themes: supporting young people to be happy and healthy in mind and body; supporting young people to develop skills and access training that will help them to confidently enter education or employment; ensuring young people are adding value to their local community; supporting young people to develop leadership skills through practical projects that benefit their peers; and enabling young people to express themselves creatively and develop their media skills.
