Actors to mentor disadvantaged

Bafta and charity Media Trust are teaming up to run their second Youth Mentoring programme, which will see disadvantaged young people working alongside established figures in the media world.

The mentors come from a range of disciplines and include actors David Morrissey and Sophie Ward.

So far more than 60 mentors have signed up to the initiative. Andres, 17, who took part in the pilot scheme last year, said: "It was fantastic to gain insight into the way industry experts think, and all of the considerations that need to be made during each stage of development."
