The survey by Marie Stopes International found 68 per cent of womenunder 16 attending the charity's family planning centres for an abortiondid not support giving parents a veto on whether they could have atermination.
The poll, which questioned more than 100 under 16s, also found thatnearly eight out of 10 had told a family member about their plans tohave an abortion.
A judicial review is currently examining whether parents have a right tobe told if their child seeks an abortion following a legal challenge byparent Sue Axon.
