
Hadley, who has headed up AYM since March 2010, was moved from her post at Newham Council and it is understood that the youth offending service is now under the remit of another service manager at the authority.
Gareth Jones, vice chair of the AYM, said the future of the organisation will be discussed at the annual general meeting on 15 May.
Besides the issue of leadership, discussions will be held about the future role and functions of the organisation in light of changes to the youth justice system.
This includes the possibility of providing paid-for consultancy services for youth offending teams (YOTs), or even mutual, or social enterprises, if new models of provision take off.
