The foundation’s Youth Strategic Investment Fund will deliver a five-year grant of £550,000 to each of the organisations to cover core costs, alongside a package of tailored expert support of more than £175,000.

The Young Women’s Movement – Scotland’s national organisation for young women’s feminist leadership – is set to benefit from the funding, with chief executive Jenni Snell saying the investment comes at a “pivotal point” following the organisation’s recent rebrand.
