The support team will help projects keep construction on track and on budget, attract sponsorship, measure success and ensure that young people are leading the projects.
The team, which is headed by consultancy Hall Aitken, also includes management consultants Gleeds, PR company Bearhunt, law firm Burness and Loughborough University. Sir Steve Redgrave and Lord Mawson will be "ambassadors" attached to the team.
Jeremy Hall, Myplace support team leader at Hall Aitken, said: "Our aim is to increase the value delivered through the Myplace programme. We'll be working to excite and involve young people, to help projects deliver outstanding facilities and to focus on longterm sustainability."
