Website calls on young people for help

A website with information on opportunities for young people to get involved in a wide variety of television programmes, schemes and competitions has been launched.

The chance to compete in a mock magistrates court competition or write for the BBC's disability website are just two of the opportunities currently posted on We Need Young People.

The site was created by Oliver Benson, who works for online communications agency YouthNet.

"There are countless requests for young people to get involved in consultations, TV programmes, debates, surveys and so on," he said.
