Plans for the £6.9m development were first announced by charity OnSide Youth Zones in 2017.
The centre, which contains facilities including a music room with a built in recording studio, arts and crafts area and climbing wall was completed in the spring and opened its doors to the public on 2 July.
Some 1,400 young people and their families attended the opening celebration which saw 1,000 sign up to become members of the facility.
Youth zone volunteer Juan Pujol, Warrington Borough Council chief executive Professor Steven Broomhead, Warrington Youth Zone trustee and funder Chris Purslow and 16-year-old member Amy Harding officially opened the building.
