Volunteers urged to help provide careers guidance in schools

Nearly a third of secondary schools in England have signed up to an initiative that will see volunteers offer school pupils insights into a range of different careers.

Launched this week, the Inspiring the Future programme gives schools free access to volunteers who can provide children with information about the routes they took to employment, either through one-to-one sessions or to whole classes of pupils.
