Haringey's former director of children's services has always maintained that she should not have been sacked without compensation after the death of Baby Peter.
She lost an appeal against Haringey Council for unfair dismissal in January, but a judicial review of her case will now be heard in the High Court.
The review is due to start on 7 October. It will be held over three days initially, but could last much longer.
Meanwhile, the High Court injunction imposed to protect the identities of Baby Peter's killers today expired.
