Leaflets for 25 medicines, including medicines for pain and medicines used most frequently in children with epilepsy, are now available to download from www.medicinesforchildren.org.uk.
Work is already under way on further leaflets.
The leaflets were created by the RCPCH science and research department's medicines committee as part of an ongoing project aiming to give information about medicine dosages, side-effects and general advice to those giving medicines to infants and children.
A number of leaflets on conditions such as pain and epilepsy have also been produced.
Dr William Van't Hoff, chair of the RCPCH medicines Committee, said: "It is really important that accurate and clear information about medicines is easily accessible to parents.
