Rise in unemployment could marginalise homeless young people

The latest employment figures, released earlier this week, show that the number of unemployed 18- to 24-year-olds rose by 55,000 to 597,000 in the three months leading up to October 2008. This age group has the highest unemployment rate at 14 per cent.
