Recruitment firm pledges to help Dame Kelly Holmes charity find young people work

1 min read Youth Work
A leading recruitment company has teamed up with a youth charity to help young people not in education, employment or training find work.

Morgan Hunt has announced it will join forces with the The Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust in a two-year partnership, to help deliver the trust's Get on Track programme.

The project gives vulnerable young people the chance to be mentored by world class athletes while providing them with "stepping stones" into volunteering, work placements and employment opportunities.

The recruitment company will now provide funding and access to employment opportunities using its network of clients.

Olympic champion Holmes, chair of the charity, said: "Not only is it fantastic to have the financial backing of Morgan Hunt on this, but their national network of organisations and companies that might be able to offer employment opportunities to our young people will help us make a real difference."
