
The programme, which is part of the Department for Education’s early years Covid recovery package, launches in November and aims to share best practice among settings in local areas and evidence on the impact of the pandemic on the youngest children as well as building local early years networks.
Well-established early years settings can apply to become Stronger Practice Hubs from today (15 August).
They will receive funding from the DfE until late 2024 to “support other settings in their area to adopt evidence-based practice improvements”, according to the NCB which will be coordinating the relationships with the new hubs, including providing oversight and quality assurance, and running the selection process.
