Met talks on dealing with young postponed

Discussions on a report on the Metropolitan Police's dealings with young people have been postponed until the next Metropolitan Police Authority (MPA) meeting.

The MPA youth scrutiny report into how the Met works with young people was supposed to be debated at the authority's full authority meeting on 29 May, but due to the overrunning of the meeting it was not discussed at length.

It has been rescheduled for the full authority meeting in July.

The meeting is a chance for all adults who took part in the various consultations to comment on the report's findings.

The report can be found at: http://www.mpa.gov.uk/downloads/issues/youth/youth-scrutiny.pdf
