Northfield Arts Forum (NAF) in Birmingham has devised a scheme that helps home-schooled children learn cooking and arts skills and brings them together to reduce the risk of social isolation.

Called NAF CAF, the scheme sees home-schooled young people help run a food-surplus café, getting involved in preparing, cooking and serving food. It has been developed as part of NAF’s commitment to provide a place for the group to socialise with peers and have new experiences.
