Jill Crawford, lead consultant for NCT Consulting, barrister John Tate, freelance consultant David Plank, Robin Currie, former chief executive at the Personal Service Society, and Gordon Ratcliffe, divisional director of services to children and young people at the NSPCC North Division, will join the council. They replace Bill McClimont, Harry Marsh, John Knight and Melanie Henwood, whose terms have come to an end, as well as Michael Leadbetter who died in April following a long battle with cancer.
The council is made up of 10 members who meet six times a year to decide the strategic direction of the body. New council members will serve for four years and will start on 1 September.
