The Back Youth Alliance, a coalition of UK youth organisations, hosted the ‘Youth Power: Election Hour’ at south London's Lambeth Town Hall to give more than 100 young people the opportunity to share their views on the issues they want to see tackled by the next government.

The event took place on 2 July, two days before the public takes to the polls on 4 July.

Youth leaders Lauren Bennett, 19, and Ayesha Karim, 21, hosted the event, which saw Campbell, strategist, podcaster and Blair's former political adviser answer questions from young people aged between 14 and 25.

Salma Shah, former adviser to Sajid Javid from 2018 to 2019, was also in attendance, alongside social housing and youth campaigner Kwajo Tweneboa.
