Now in their eleventh year, there are 22 categories available and entry is free. Full details are on the dedicated awards website – www.cypnawards.com – through which all entries must be submitted.
Last year saw entry numbers soar to record levels, cementing the status of these awards as the most coveted accolades for the children’s workforce.
Winners last year included youth mental health charity 42nd Street, Play Torbay, Hampshire Constabulary, Family and Childcare Trust and the Fostering Network with Achievement for All, as well as councils in Derbyshire, Lancashire and Lincolnshire.
The awards will be judged by an expert panel of professionals as well as a panel of young people and the winners will be unveiled at an evening ceremony in central London in November.
In this sustained period of austerity and the challenges this brings, it is as important as ever to recognise and reward excellent practice. So take some time to reflect on the best things you have done during the past year and submit your entries by the deadline of Friday 1st July.
