The County Councils Network (CCN) has called on whichever party wins the general election on 4 July to urgently set out how it will fund local authorities and reform council services once in office.

Calls linked to children’s services in the report include introducing price caps for the children’s services residential care market and “reforming and rebalancing” the SEND system.
