Charities slam 'outrageous' cuts to housing benefit for under-25s

Suggestions by Prime Minister David Cameron that housing benefit should be scrapped for under-25s have been blasted by charities as "outrageous" and "potentially dangerous".

Cameron is due to outline proposals to further reform the welfare system today (25 June), including scrapping housing benefits to under-25s, worth around £2bn a year. It is understood he also wants to introduce tougher rules on Job Seeker's Allowance.
