The YEF Covid-19 grants have been launched to provide much-needed financial assistance to charities and social enterprises working with at risk young people, many of which have been forced to close settings and move support online as a result of the pandemic lockdown.

In addition to funding organisations to deliver support for young people at risk of violence, the YEF wants the grant round to improve knowledge on the best ways to provide support under social distancing and stay-at-home guidelines.

The average grant awarded is expected to be around £50,000, with a minimum grant of £25,000 available. There is no maximum, although grants will be proportionate to the size of the organisation.
