The Framework for London in Permanent Children’s Social Work Recruitment (FLiP) aims to boost councils’ access to permanent staff through closer partnership working.

This framework is valued at £20m and involves creating a cross-capital pricing structure, a single point of contact for recruitment and a standard set of terms and conditions.

The initiative is being delivered by councils’ bulk buying group Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO) in partnership with local authority organisations London Councils and the London Innovation and Improvement Alliance (LIIA)and on behalf of the Association of London Directors of Children’s Services (ALDCS).

Through the framework councils in London will be given access to 16 specialist social care recruiters.
