
Integrating services and pooling budgets with health services and Jobcentre Plus (to name a few) will help to eliminate costly duplication of services, improve efficiency due to better data sharing, and would provide a more seamless and user-friendly service for families.
Better integration of services will also improve early intervention. Bringing professionals and services together under the same roof will enable easier identification of potential issues, before they develop into more serious and costly problems further down the line - for the family, community and taxpayer. These reforms are urgently needed to enable children's centres to get more children off to the best start in life and support more families to flourish.
