No matter how ambitious your plans, here are some ideas to get your group's skateboarding project started. Andy Hillier reports.

1. RHINO RAMPS

Rhino Ramps designs and builds a range of permanent skateparks that comply with the recently revised British Standards safety requirements. Costs depend on the groundworks required at the site and the amount of equipment needed.

Price: Individual installations start at about £2,000

Once you've got a skatepark, the young people will need somewhere to hang out and keep out of the rain.
