 It seems the arts club I blogged about a while back has now become a cause celebre, with The Mail ("Paint Potty! Council zealots close down under-fives' art club because children are 'too middle-class'") and The Times ("It takes more than Play-Doh to plug a deficit") covering it.

I am quite amused that the Learning Trust (which runs Hackney's education etc) did a similar survey of middle classness as MediaDad did although his was based on buggies and theirs on postcodes.  Having now been I can confirm it is an imaginative and well run resource, which, as I said before, should be built on to reach a more diverse community not dumped.
