Balloon Boy

What a strange story, about the child reported to be trapped in the balloon that floated away across Colorado, and who was then found hiding in the attic.  Adults using their children to satisfy their own craving for fame is nothing new, of course, but to set up a stunt of this magnitude is astonishing.  Falcon gave the game away during a television interview when he said brightly to his father "You said we did this for a show".  As the family seem to have made a career out of starring in reality TV shows I was slightly worried about how Falcon would be treated by his....how shall I put it?  ... not awfully stable father, after blowing the gaffe so spectacularly.  With families like the Heemes, and the Octomom etc, we will end up with a generation of children many of whom will have either grown up on screen or even worse, spent their childhoods trying to.
