Last October, 22-year-old Sabian Muhammad set about trying to change the way adults think about young people and bridge the generation gap.

He did this by setting up the Why Do website, which allowed adults to post questions that a team of young people answered online.

Sabian says: "I had many positive influences around me when I was growing up, but I knew many young people that didn't. I wanted to change adults' perceptions of young people."

"The website worked both ways as many young people don't feel understood by adults, so this gave them a chance to voice their opinions."
