NYA Update: NYA young adviser experiences the work of the Women's Institute

National Youth Agency young adviser Claire Heaton was recently invited to shadow Ruth Bond,chair of the Women's Institute (WI) as part of the legacy of Youth Work Week 2011.
Claire attended an event held at the House of Lords to launch Prison Journeys, a collaborative project between the Women’s Institute and Action for Prisoners that saw 10 WI members visit men and women prisoners to demonstrate the difficulties families face when visiting prisons.
