Conference focuses on Scotland’s youngest citizens
Children in Scotland and Children in Europe’s partnership conference, “A New Era for Scotland’s Youngest Citizens: Getting the Proposed New Children’s Services Legislation Right”, will take place in South Lanarkshire on 18 June.

As Scotland joins the rest of Europe in taking forward the EC communication on Early Childhood Education and Care, and prepares the Children’s Service Bill to go through parliament, this major conference asks: is this the start of a new era for Scotland’s youngest citizens?

Speakers at the one-day event include Naomi Eisenstadt, senior research fellow, Department of Education, University ?of Oxford.
