NCB Now: Diversity in Action events

Diversity in Action Northern Ireland (DIANI) is running two great one-day events in January and February 2012.
The first, on 31 January, is on "Cultural Competence" and looks at how best to interact effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds. The event will also provide tips on how to support parents and children from ethnically diverse backgrounds in managing transition to life in Northern Ireland.
The second event, on 21 February, is entitled "Myth Busting" and looks at the myths and the realities for asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in relation to entitlements to work, benefits and schooling, and how this impacts on children from these families.
