NCB Now: School home help tackles truancy

A new evaluation report from NCB, Crossing the Boundary from Home to School, looks at how the school based charity, School-Home Support, is helping to tackle truancy and social exclusion in London.

The report looks at how School-Home Support is helping improveattendance, promote parents' involvement with schools, support the movefrom primary to secondary school, work with outside agencies and supportindividual children in nine multi-ethnic schools on the Isle of Dogs inLondon.
