How did you feel at your nursery graduation ceremony?
“The ceremony made me happy.”

What are your favourite things about the Clever Clogs nursery?
“Playing with the toys, tidying up and playing with friends.”

What will you miss the most when you leave the nursery?
“I will miss my friends, playing with the blocks and I will miss my teachers, especially Carla. I will feel sad to leave nursery.”

Are you excited about going to school and what are you most looking forward to?
“I am excited about my school, making models and new friends.”

Are you proud to have got your certificate?
“So proud.”

What are the most important things that you learned at nursery?
“Jolly phonics songs.”

What did your family say when you graduated from the nursery?

“Mum said I looked so cheeky on my special photograph.”

Do you feel grown-up now that you are going on to school?
“Yes, cause I am going to school when I’m five and my uniform makes me feel nice and warm.”

Daniel was among the children at three Clever Clogs nurseries in the north east of England to take part in a graduation ceremony. Parents, staff, siblings and friends joined children as certificates were handed out to mark the children’s completion of nursery and move to primary school in September
