A handful of staff at children’s mental health charity YoungMinds are at risk of redundancy due to the impact of Covid-19, the charity has said.
YoungMinds has been forced to restructure its training and consultancy team after the pandemic left face-to-face services unable to run.
Four staff members are at risk of redundancy, the charity said, however four new roles have been created in the new structure.

Analysis: Coronavirus – campaigners warn on capacity of children’s charities
According to YoungMinds' latest accounts for 2018/19, the charity employs 87 members of staff with an equivalent of 68 full time roles.
A statement from YoungMinds says: “Some of the training and consultancy services YoungMinds provides, particularly those that rely on face-to-face delivery, have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. In response, we have made changes to our strategy which have been reflected in some changes to team structure.
“We regret that there are four individuals who have been put at risk of redundancy as a result of these changes. There are four vacant roles to be filled in the new structure.”
The announcement comes as reports warned the voluntary sector could face a £4bn loss in income due to the pandemic.
